Pegging: a sexual practice in which a woman penetrates a man's anus with a strap-on dildo. The neologism "pegging" was popularized when it became the winning entry in a contest in Dan Savage's Savage Love sex advice column, held after an observation was made that there was no common name for the act.

All adult men are well aware of the fact that stimulation of the prostate can feel amazing if done right.  There are tons of toys out there for prostate massage specifically.  But the question remains, would you try pegging?  Would you let your woman strap on a dildo and have at it?  Would you be comfortable enough with your sexuality to try it at least once in your life?  Dan Savage says he believes that every male should.

While women have been using strap-ons on women for a long time, this practice of pegging (you would think) is fairly new.  However, it has been around since the 70's more or less.  The first pegging scene (long before the term was developed) appears to have been in the non-pornographic 1970 film Myra Breckinridge, based on the novel of the same name by Gore Vidal, although it was not explicit. The first explicit such scene is believed to have occurred in the 1975 pornographic film The Opening of Misty Beethoven.

In the early 2000's the practice gained steam.  There was a laundry list of titles that was released in the adult world regarding it.    There have been several hundred movies released with the sole focus on pegging, and tons of bi-sexual & straight movies that have incorporated it.   Tristan Taormino released an instructional pegging movie in 2009 by Vivid Entertainment, Tristan Taormino's Expert Guide to Anal Pleasure for Men (or click here for VOD), featuring a detailed explanation about male anal pleasure and strap-on dildo sex. In it, she teaches a workshop with instructions and skills for safe and pleasurable female on male anal sex. There are three scenes, in which pairs of pornographic actors explore different sexual devices and positions for pegging.

Now that we have thoroughly covered what pegging is, would you allow your partner to try it on you if she so desired?  Even more so, would you have the confidence to request this from a female partner?  There are many resources on the web for this topic, but I wanted to actually crawl into the mental aspect of it, not the physical.  With the way society has raised straight males, would you be willing to give it a go?  Would you ever disclose to others that you had?  I don't mean sitting at the dinner table with grandma, but in general if it came up in the man cave.

I have a previous article posted on Anal Sex which covers several techniques and theories, most of which would be the same in reverse.  Still need to prep, still need to loosen up, and still need to take it slow.  I know a lot of guys open enough to try this, and would actually disclose whether or not they enjoyed it and would do it again.  I know even more that say "I'm not gay" when approached with this topic.  Most heterosexual males believe that any type of anal play makes them gay.  I will state this openly and only once.  If it is a straight female on a straight male, or vice versa, it is hetero sex.  Regardless of what happens during playtime, it is still hetero sex.

Have you tried pegging?  How was it?  Would you do it again?  Comment field is below, you know what to do.
